A Boulevardier with a desert twist — choose your route.
Base Formula
1.5 oz bourbon (Larceny, Maker’s 46, or your pick)
0.75 oz Campari
0.75 oz sweet vermouth
0.5 oz fruit puree (see variations below)
Optional: 1 dash orange bitters
Shake with ice if the puree is thick, or stir if it’s thin. Serve up in a coupe or over a large rock.
The El Paseo – Passion Fruit
Bright, tropical, and just a little flashy — like shopping the Rodeo Drive of the desert.
Garnish: Orange peel twist.
Palm Canyon Drive – Guava
Smooth, mellow, and effortlessly cool — the main artery of Palm Springs nightlife.
Garnish: Lime wheel.
Indian Canyons – Blackberry
Rich, lush, and deeply hued — a nod to the shaded trails and oasis vibes.
Garnish: Blackberry skewer.
Tahquitz Rose – Lychee
Elegant, floral, and subtly sweet — like sipping in a hidden mid-century courtyard.
Garnish: Skewered lychee or edible flower.
Desert Sunset – Prickly Pear
Vivid magenta with a gentle sweetness — the drink that looks as good as the view.
Garnish: Cucumber ribbon or citrus slice.
Belardo – Fig
The fig purée lends a lush, jammy sweetness that smooths the edges of Campari’s bite and enriches the bourbon’s warmth.
